Liquid Facelift Treatment with Hyaluronic Acid and Biostimulators Aesthetiqua

Liquid Facelift for naturally fresh contours

from €700*

When your face looks tired even though you feel fit, it’s rarely due to a single wrinkle. Often, volume, contours, and the balance between the cheeks, chin, and jawline change. A liquid facelift can targetedly compensate for these changes – without surgery, with a result that looks like you.

Key Facts

Liquid facelift at a glance

  • What is it? An individually planned treatment concept using hyaluronic acid and, depending on findings, complementary Botox to harmoniously balance volume, contours, and proportions.
  • Who is it suitable for? Primarily for initial to moderate signs of volume loss, tired facial features, or less defined contours – not for severe excess skin as a replacement for surgery.
  • What is the goal? A fresher, more balanced overall appearance without an overfilled look. A medical analysis, targeted treatment, and the most natural results possible are crucial.

What is a liquid facelift?

A liquid facelift is not a fixed product, but an individually planned treatment approach. Medically administered hyaluronic acid fillers restore support or volume to selected areas. Botox can complement this by relaxing muscle activity that accentuates certain expression lines or visually pulls the facial contours downward.

The goal is not to overfill the face. It is about bringing proportions back into harmony: for example, through a gentle enhancement of the cheeks, a clearer jawline, or a harmoniously projected chin. Even small changes at the right points can make a big difference.

Benefits of medical treatments

Who is a liquid facelift suitable for?

The treatment may be suitable if you notice initial to moderate signs of volume loss, want your facial contours to look more defined, or desire a more refreshed appearance. Some patients are particularly bothered by sunken cheeks, drooping corners of the mouth, a less defined jawline, or shadows in the midface.

The baseline findings are crucial. In cases of pronounced excess skin or severely sagging tissue, a minimally invasive treatment cannot fully replace the possibilities of surgery. However, it can still be beneficial to make the face look fresher and more structured. In a medical consultation, the focus is therefore not just on a single wrinkle, but on the face as a whole.

Which areas are treated?

A liquid facelift usually focuses on the supporting areas of the face. These include the cheeks and cheekbone area, temples, chin, and jawline. Depending on the anatomy, a subtle treatment of the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, or tear troughs may also be beneficial. The latter is particularly demanding and belongs exclusively in experienced medical hands.

Not every zone needs to be treated. For example, someone who regains volume in the midface often requires significantly less product in the wrinkles around the mouth and nose. This is precisely the difference between holistic planning and a one-size-fits-all treatment.

Botox, Hyaluronic Acid, or Both?

Hyaluronic acid fillers and Botox perform different roles. Hyaluronic acid can replace volume, model contours, and support tissue. Botox targetedly reduces the activity of certain muscles – such as frown lines, crow’s feet, or a very active chin muscle.

In some cases, Botox complements the liquid facelift, for example, when a pull from the neck muscles makes the jawline appear less defined. In other cases, hyaluronic acid alone is the better choice. Biostimulating procedures such as Radiesse can also be an option depending on skin quality and treatment goals. Which method is suitable is decided not by trends, but by anatomy, skin condition, and the desired change.

Experience

Safety requires experience and a clear plan

Even minimally invasive treatments are medical procedures. Precise knowledge of facial anatomy, high-quality products, and a careful injection technique are crucial. Rare but serious complications must be recognized early and treated professionally. That is why patient education, a detailed medical history, and transparent medical aftercare are standard.

You don't recognize a good liquid facelift by others suspecting a treatment. It shows in your face looking more awake, more balanced, and more harmonious. Take your time for the consultation, state your goal openly, and choose a treatment that respects your individual facial features.

Treatment procedure

How the treatment is performed by a medical expert

It begins with a personal analysis. During this, facial shape, symmetries, expressions, skin quality, and existing volume are assessed. Your expectations are also important: Do you primarily want to look fresher, emphasize contours, or correct a specific area? This results in a treatment plan that remains transparent and leaves room for understatement.

The injections themselves usually take about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the scope. Fine needles or blunt cannulas are often used. A numbing cream or a local anesthetic can increase comfort. You are generally able to resume social activities immediately after the treatment, though temporary swelling, tenderness, or small bruises are possible.

The result of a filler is immediately visible, but continues to develop over the following days as swelling subsides and the product integrates into the tissue. Botox usually requires a few days to take full effect. Longevity and progression vary depending on the region, product, metabolism, and facial expressions.

Das ist aber noch nicht aussagekräftig, denn direkt nach dem Eingriff verfälschen die akute Schwellung und die Gewebereaktion das Bild. Vor allem die Oberlippe kann anfangs asymmetrisch oder größer wirken als geplant. Kleine Knubbel oder tastbare Unebenheiten in den ersten Tagen sind ebenfalls kein Grund zur Sorge. Eine seriöse, medizinische Beurteilung des Endergebnisses ist nach etwa 10 bis 14 Tagen möglich, wenn sich das Hyaluron vollständig in das Gewebe integriert und Wasser gebunden hat. Erst dann können unsere Ärzt:innen einschätzen, ob eine feine Nachkorrektur sinnvoll ist." } }, { "@type": "Question", "name": "Wie hoch sind die Kosten für eine Lippenunterspritzung?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "Die Kosten hängen insbesondere von der Menge der verwendeten Hyaluronsäure ab. Das betäubt das Gewebe direkt bei der Injektion. Der Schutz der Patient:innen steht dabei im Vordergrund." } }, { "@type": "Question", "name": "Wie lange hält Hyaluron in den Lippen?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "Als grober Rahmen gelten etwa 6 bis 12 Monate. Allerdings ist die Haltbarkeit individuell. Lippen sind sehr beweglich und extrem gut durchblutet. Nach oben gibt es keine feste Grenze. Ab den späten 30ern verlieren Lippen tendenziell an Volumen und Kontur, sodass eine Behandlung dann aus anderen Gründen ein Thema sein kann. Pauschal lässt sich die Frage aber nicht beantworten: Ob Lip-Filler infrage kommen, hängt vom individuellen Befund ab. Gerade bei jüngeren Menschen ist uns eine ehrliche ärztliche Beratung wichtig, in der wir gemeinsam abwägen, was sinnvoll ist." } } ] }
FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the liquid facelift

A liquid facelift is ideal for mild to moderate volume loss and initial fine lines if you want a result without surgery, scars, or downtime. A surgical facelift, on the other hand, is the right choice for severe excess skin and pronounced sagging, as excess skin is surgically removed and the tissue is permanently tightened.

An overview of the key differences:

  • Main goal: Liquid facelift targetedly builds volume and gently smooths | Surgical facelift tightens sagging tissue and removes excess skin.

  • Ideally suited for: Liquid facelift for initial volume loss and mild loss of contour | Surgical facelift for pronounced excess skin and deep wrinkles.

  • Invasiveness & downtime: Liquid facelift is minimally invasive with 0 to 2 days of downtime | Surgical facelift is a surgical procedure with approx. 2 to 3 weeks of recovery.

  • Scars & longevity: Liquid facelift leaves no scars and lasts approx. 12 to 24 months | Surgical facelift leaves fine, hidden scars and lasts approx. 10 to 15 years.

When performed professionally, the result looks completely natural. The goal of a liquid facelift is not to create artificial volume, but to targetedly restore lost contours. Through modern injection techniques and the measured use of hyaluronic acid or biostimulators, the tissue is gently lifted without altering facial expressions or creating a puffy ‘pillow face’.

  • Focus: Restoring your own facial proportions rather than changing them.

  • Result: A fresher, more refreshed expression – as if you had a good night’s sleep.

  • Safety: Since degradable materials are used, the result adapts harmoniously.

The treatment is low in pain and requires virtually no downtime. A mild anesthetic is usually mixed into the fillers used, and a numbing cream can also be applied beforehand. You are usually fully operational again immediately or the next day.

  • Pain perception: Minimal – just a brief prick and a slight sensation of pressure.

  • Downtime: 0 to 2 days; slight redness or small bruises can easily be covered with makeup.

  • Aftercare: Strenuous exercise, sauna visits, and direct sunlight should be avoided for 24 to 48 hours.

The initial costs for a liquid facelift are significantly lower than for surgery. While a surgical facelift represents a one-time but very high investment, the costs for a liquid facelift are spread over regular touch-ups every 12 to 24 months.

  • Liquid Facelift: Costs depend on the amount of filler material required and are usually in the range of about €600 to €2,000 per session.

  • Surgical Facelift: Expect costs starting from approx. €8,000 to €18,000, including anesthesia, operating room, and aftercare.

  • Conclusion: A liquid facelift is ideal for achieving visible rejuvenation with a manageable budget without a major financial project.
