Wie läuft die Lippenkorrektur mit Hyaluron ab?
Um Lippen aufzuspritzen, verwenden wir Hyaluron. Hyaluronsäure ist ein körpereigener Stoff, der Wasser bindet. Den Lip-Filler wählen wir individuell aus. So läuft die Behandlung ab:
- Analyse: Zuerst betrachten wir das gesamte periorale Areal – Verhältnis von Ober- zu Unterlippe, Bewegung beim Sprechen sowie Asymmetrien oder Besonderheiten der Gefäßanatomie. Ist altes Material vorhanden, besprechen wir das offen; manchmal ist es sinnvoller, unsaubere Filler zunächst mit Hylase (Hyaluronidase) aufzulösen. Gemeinsam legen wir fest, welche Technik infrage kommt – etwa Lip-Filler mit der Russian-Lips-Methode.
- Vorbereitung: Wir desinfizieren den Behandlungsbereich gründlich und tragen bei Bedarf eine betäubende Creme auf. Zusätzlich enthalten unsere hochwertigen Lip-Filler ein Lokalanästhetikum (Lidocain), das die Behandlung so schmerzarm wie möglich macht.
- Injektion: Je nach Befund arbeiten wir mit einer Nadel (präzise an Kontur oder Lippenherz) oder einer stumpfen Kanüle (schonender bei größeren Arealen). Die Methode richtet sich nach Deiner Anatomie. Druck, Brennen oder kurzes Stechen sind dabei normal.
Für ein natürliches Resultat injizieren wir Hyaluron lieber schrittweise in die Lippen und empfehlen dafür unter Umständen mehrere Sitzungen.
Hinweis: Eine Unterspritzung empfehlen wir erst ab dem 18. Lebensjahr.
Was passiert nach der Lippenunterspritzung?
Eine realistische Einschätzung des Ergebnisses ist erst nach einigen Tagen, teils erst nach etwa 2 Wochen sinnvoll. Damit in dieser Zeit alles gut abheilt, solltest Du in den ersten Stunden mehrere Dinge beachten:
- Lippen nicht massieren, starke Hitze meiden, körperliche Belastung zurückhaltend angehen
- Kühlen ohne Druck und nicht direkt mit Eis auf der Haut
- Lippenstift, Küsse und ausgiebige Zahnarzttermine besser vermeiden
So gut die Heilung meist verläuft – wie bei jeder Injektion gibt es auch Risiken:
- Häufig: Schwellungen, Blutergüsse, vorübergehende Druckempfindlichkeit. Besonders in den ersten 24 bis 72 Stunden können die Lippen ungleichmäßig, fester oder voller wirken als geplant.
- Seltener: Temporäre Knötchen, Asymmetrien sowie Herpesreaktivierungen kommen seltener vor.
- Selten, aber ernst: Gefäßkomplikationen sind ernstzunehmend. Starke einseitige Schmerzen, blasse oder bläuliche Verfärbung, Kältegefühl oder ein netzartiges Muster gehören sofort ärztlich abgeklärt.

What should be considered with lip augmentation?
Lip augmentation is also one of the most requested treatments at Aesthetiqua. Our experienced doctors perform numerous injections with hyaluronic acid daily and specialize in this treatment. They always pay attention to harmonious shaping and consider the natural characteristics of beautiful lips.
Even small amounts of hyaluronic acid are sufficient to achieve visible improvements. Precise dosing by the treating physician is crucial for a natural, balanced result. At Aesthetiqua, safety, naturalness, and individual adaptation to your face are always our priority.
When will I see the final result?
A first impression is immediately visible, but not yet reliable. Directly after the procedure, acute swelling and tissue reaction often significantly distort the picture. Especially the upper lip can initially appear asymmetrical or larger than planned. Small bumps or palpable irregularities in the first
days are also no cause for concern. A serious medical assessment of the final result is possible after about 10 to 14 days, when the hyaluronic acid has fully integrated into the tissue and bound water. Only then can it be assessed whether the result is perfect or whether a fine
touch-up would be sensible.
What are the costs?

These depend primarily on the amount of hyaluronic acid used. Typically, 0.5 to 1 milliliter of hyaluronic acid is used per treatment.
For orientation: The price per milliliter of hyaluronic acid is about 250 euros. However, the total cost of your lip augmentation can vary depending on the required amount and your individual wishes. Note that such cosmetic procedures are generally not covered by health insurance. These are considered purely aesthetic treatments.

Can lip augmentation be reversed?
Yes, unlike permanent materials, hyaluronic acid can be completely dissolved with the enzyme Hylase (hyaluronidase). This makes sense when the result looks unnatural, the filler has migrated into the skin surface, asymmetries disturb the overall appearance, or rare medical indications exist. However, it’s important: Hylase is not a cosmetic eraser for casual use.
Dissolving requires exact medical dosing and experience, as the enzyme can temporarily also affect the body’s own hyaluronic acid. In our practices, we therefore always carefully weigh whether complete dissolution is necessary or whether a targeted, fine correction is sufficient.
Does lip augmentation hurt?
The treatment is usually well tolerated, even though the lips are among the more sensitive regions of the body. A topical numbing cream is often applied beforehand, and many modern hyaluronic acid fillers contain a local anesthetic (lidocaine) that numbs the tissue directly during injection. During treatment, you may feel stinging, burning, or pressure, especially
on the sensitive lip contour. How strongly you perceive this depends on your personal pain sensitivity, the chosen technique, and the treated area. After the session, the lips often feel tight or pressure-sensitive, which is completely normal in the first days.
Do I need to consider anything before and after the treatment?
Before treatment:
- Avoid facial treatments: No laser treatments, permanent makeup, or tattoos in the facial area for several weeks beforehand.
- Time after surgeries: Wait several weeks after nose surgeries.
- Makeup: Don’t use waterproof lipstick on the treatment day.
- Alcohol: Don’t drink alcohol 24 hours beforehand.
- Food and drink: Eat and drink enough before treatment.
After treatment, note:
- Smoking and makeup: Don’t smoke or apply makeup immediately afterward.
- Hot drinks/food: Avoid for several hours.
- Sports: Pause for at least 48 hours.
- Physical contact: No kisses or direct lip contact for 24 hours.
- Cosmetic follow-up treatments: Avoid facial massages, microblading, or permanent makeup in the following weeks.
These measures support a smooth process and optimal result of lip augmentation.

Before-and-after pictures, which were frequently used to show results after lip augmentation, are no longer permitted for legal reasons. This practice has been restricted by new guidelines to ensure patient health and safety.
